As you can see in the photo of this plaque from 1980, Butte-Glenn Medical Society is a lead organizer for sports physicals in Chico Unified School District. Sports physicals ensure that middle school students are prepared for high school sports. Butte-Glenn Medical Society partners with Butte County to provide behavioral health and trauma screening in addition to sports physicals. In the Spring of 2019, we partnered with Pleasant Valley High School, Chico High School and Durham High School to ensure all students are medically screened to participate in sports.
